Jake Milton
Jake Milton, Ted's younger brother, had already gained a lot of experience as a drummer with The Glands (a short lived group with Eric Clapton in 1965. This band is occasionally referred to as “The Greek Loon Band”!) and Quintessence, a prog-rock band. In some interviews this history was often kept a secret, though.
Jake was an intense, metronomic drummer with Blurt, never missing a beat on his small jazz drumkit with the sharpest snaredrum sound imaginable.
After the album "Friday The 12th" he left Blurt, altough he helped his brother out on occasions during the years to follow.
Jake still plays music around his hometown area with jazz outfits and he's been doing some soundtracks for TV.
