Peter Creese
Peter, or Pete, Creese was the original guitarist of Blurt. Before that he had been an arts teacher. (and a patient with a certain Dr. Orlondov, as he once remarked during an interview! On which the rest of the band exclaimed they ALL had been patients with this notorious doctor!)
Creese helped define the Blurt sound with his raspy guitar and his "human loop-style", giving Ted the perfect backing for his saxophone and vocal rants. On stage Pete was a gentle giant, rock solid and concentrating on the riff. Occasionally he also blew the trombone and played his guitar with a bow.
After the tour following the "Bullets For You" album Pete left the band in anger following a dispute with Ted.
Creese stepped out of the music business and returned to art teaching.
